Hi! I’m Melissa King and I’m a certified health coach and personal trainer specializing in helping women overcome their anxiety and depression so they can be more productive, have more energy, and live an abundant life.
I believe that in order to create healthy lifestyle habits that are sustainable you must do this one step at a time. I teach behavior change techniques that can be personalized to fit any lifestyle. I have learned most of this from personal experience having overcome anxiety and depression myself.
Hi! I work well with women, especially women with PCOS, to change their lifestyle and environment for symptom management.

It is all a perfect storm that comes together, one step and decision at a time. My goal is to empower and motivate others through mindful nutritional choices and planning.

Read MoreDenver, also known as "The Mile High City" is the consolidated city and county that is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Colorado.
Denver is located in the South Platte River Valley on the western edge of the High Plains just east of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The Denver downtown district is immediately east of the confluence of Cherry Creek and the South Platte River, approximately 12 mi east of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Denver has numerous art districts around the city, including Denver's Art District on Santa Fe and the River North Art District (RiNo). Because of its proximity to the mountains and generally sunny weather, Denver has gained a reputation as being a very active, outdoor-oriented city. Many Denver residents spend the weekends in the mountains; skiing in the winter and hiking, climbing, kayaking, and camping in the summer.
Denver and surrounding cities are home to a large number of local and national breweries. Many of the region's restaurants have on-site breweries, and some larger brewers offer tours, including Coors and New Belgium Brewing Company. The city also welcomes visitors from around the world when it hosts the annual Great American Beer Festival each fall.
The Denver MSA has a gross metropolitan product of $157.6 billion in 2010, making it the 18th largest metro economy in the United States. Large Denver-area employers that have headquarters here include Lockheed Martin Corp., United Airlines, Kroger Co., and Xcel Energy, Inc.
A common thread between many Coloradans is their dedication to health and wellness. This dedication is not just reserved for individuals, however, there are a number of businesses driven to promote health in their mission, work, and messaging.
Margaret Ferguson, MD, and president and executive medical director of Colorado Permanente Medical Group, says that the biggest areas of change have been in mental health and technology.
“It’s imperative the industry focus on addressing the root causes of poor health by promoting public health policy, community health services, and workplace efforts that support a healthier lifestyle,” Ferguson says, adding that access to affordable care is something that evolved in Colorado over the past fifty years.
If you are interested in making an impact on the future of health and wellness in Denver, join the Denver Metro Chamber Health and Wellness Committee. The committee is focused on the entire health care landscape, with special attention to quality, cost, and access to care.
