Job Description

Sofia Health (, the leading brand for virtual health and wellness services and products is seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Associate to help monetize and drive revenues across the brand's integrated wellness portfolio serving employers and providers. 

The Business Development Associate will help drive sales and partnerships across our employer and provider services to leading employers and national brands. Working with brand-name clients, a creative and agile work culture, and unlimited potential make this an ideal opportunity for a passionate, experienced, talented, hungry self-starter captivated by the opportunity to help build the next giant wellness platform that can help shape the future of health.


Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Source, develop, and build partnerships with major client and partner prospects
  • Nurture relationships with existing clients to generate maximum business impact
  • Become a subject matter expert and continue to deepen your product/domain knowledge over time
  • Negotiate pricing and partnership structures
  • Achieve sales and activity goals as decided on by leadership
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Significantly grow revenues and client base


This position includes a base salary plus uncapped personal commissions. This is an opportunity to take the reins in a growing wellness startup bursting with untapped revenue potential while working with a team of talented and ambitious entrepreneurs. 



Minimum Requirements:

  •  Bachelor's degree
  •  1+ years B2B sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the employer wellness space, B2B sales with established relationships
  • Proven track record of closing deals with large organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sales mechanics and negotiation skills
  • Ambitious self-starter with a go-getter attitude, competitive nature, and excellent work ethic who doesn’t mind getting his/her hands dirty and is excited about working in a start-up environment
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make decisions and manage relationships
